Thanks everyone, I did think he was quite local to me and thought it looked decent, so I've dropped an order for some bits and I'll see how I get on 👍

Nicks one of the soundest blokes you’ll ever meet. I’ve know him since I was a teenager.
His corkballs are as good as you’ll find, it’s all done by pre order. He takes on manageable workloads to ensure it’s all done right. in a time of mass poduced **** that has not much care taken to, it’s nice to see someone who won’t let his stuff leave untill it’s perfect, it’s certainly worth the wait if it’s a route you choose to go down.

Nick did me some custom cork balls last year. He was brilliant - took a while but he explained and it was def worth the wait. Appreciate that was my experience but I’m not a name by any stretch.

I've known Nick since he was a youngster cutting his teeth on the Ringwood pits... Until very recently, the bait thing was just a sideline to his main job, and it's a small operation, though he does hope to ramp things up a bit going forward.
His baits are very good indeed.
But don't ever do a pub quiz against him, especially if him and Beadle are in the same team, right pair of cheating gits

Not used them but I'd definitely have a crack at those Pilgrims if I was after a dark foodsignal corkball

I've listened to him on a couple of bait talks and he seems like a decent bloke, properly into his carp fishing, fishing hard/tricky waters etc. and doesn't seem like he's in it for anything other than the love of fishing and wanting to make a decent bait. Obvs has to make a living/make it worth the while too

If you follow him on any of the social media you'll see that its a small op, just him hand rolling and he announces when the website is open and taking orders - it tends to sell out pretty quickly from what I can tell until he rolls each batch.

Get some and report back!

They are probably decent but he never has stock and his attitude when dealing with people is not what Id expect from someone Id be giving my money too.

The angling 'celebs' all seem to have a pot but I was never able to buy anything unless you want to buy a mouldy old cardigan.

Haven’t used them in quite a few years due to using Specialized now but their pineapple corkballs did me a number of decent fish.

Was chatting with a mate the other day who was saying these are decent and worth a look.

The website looks like it's mostly sold out and a bit spenny, but I'm a sucker for a new hookbait.

So was wondering, is my mate right, are they any good and worth the money?

Cheers
