Quest Defier mk3 is well worth a look. I have the 1 man, which is roomy enough for me, but they now do a 2 man version.
Well made, 20,000 hh blackout material , I've had zero issues with my mk 2 and now mk 3.
The mk2 was a bit snug, but the re designed mk3, with flat back , has much better usuable space. More vents too and optional sealed inner capsule, which is a godsend with the many bugs, snakes, spiders etc here in Louisiana.
I can't recommend highly enough.

My only gripe is having to change doors if it rains, a simple door with mesh and a drop down cover would be great.

I've no experience of the frontier but can't fault the wychwood epic. Had mine just over a year now and so far so good. Plenty roomy enough and comes complete with standard and mozi zip in full fronts and skull cap so no added extras to pay for. Also love the zip in groundsheet.
Great vfm in my opinion

I have the original Frontier X and can't fault it. Same size as the V2 I think.
Enough headroom to sit on a solar spc tech bed with all legs fully extended, and space in front of bed for a decent chair with your legs sticking out of the door, or chair sideways with door closed. Having a high bed chair frees up loads of storage space below. Good materials, good zips , good window options. If I'm nit picking, perhaps a bit too much velcro around the windows, but I've never had any rain get in, so maybe it's serving a purpose.

Afternoon chaps,not been on here for years but im looking for some advice from anglers who have used the tackle im looking at,i have got to the age (60) where I need a bit more space in my bivvy eg headroom, kit ,bigger bedchair etc for longer sessions at home or abroad.I have whittled my options down to Wychwood epic bivvy or frontier 2 x ,i don't want nash as I have been a avid user of nash bivvys for 30 years ,just got rid of a T1 and a hide as the seams started to come away,quality over this period has gone down hill,i don't want a RS as the price point is to hefty for me.I have a wychwood brolly system which is a great bit of kit and all luggage is wychwood which I like and is very practical and hard wearing.So with all that said any recommendations from users not opinions of non users would be gratefully received.
