Had the cb26 a few weeks now and can say it’s fantastic, loaded my coolbag on Friday morning with all my food and drink with 2 frozen 1 litre bottles of water. Just got home and still have ice in my water bottle 55 hours later. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Regarding size it will be personal preference but for me the cb15 is ample for a 24 and Im happy to go back to the car/shops to replenish if I was doing a longer session but the majority of my fishing is overnighters so the only real time I use the CB26 is if Im doing longer sessions or when Im with the family camping (More mouths to feed) or its a god send as an example next weekend when Ill use it at camp bestival with the family and will be out all day and we can load it with beverages and will be sufficient for the 4 of us for the day - The choice is yours ultimately regards what works best for you
There are so many factors that effect performance of coolers as an example I have an Anker Everfrost 58L electric fridge for when we are off grid abroad etc and its a beast and costing nearly £1000 and even on a unit of that size and value the stated running times differ from the actual performance dependant on where its stored, what I place in it, how I pack it, even if I leave it in the sunlight as an example but the biggest factor is what is the initial temperature of the item I am placing in it and I think thats the same for all cool bags.
I personally dont feel the need to add Ice or blocks to my CB15 as I tend store things that are already cold and I also keep my plunge lid in the freezer which is a great edge Ive found and my food and beers will still cold easily long enough
In regards to the ratios the general consesus is 2:1 Ice/Food
A quick Google search shares the info below
Mass:
A 2:1 proportion provides enough freezing power to drive temperatures down and keep them below the safety threshold of 40°F (4°C).Block vs. Cubes: Solid block ice or frozen gallon jugs melt much slower than loose ice cubes because they have a lower surface-area-to-mass ratio. Use blocks at the base and fill gaps with cubes.
Practices for PackingLayering:
Put a solid layer of block ice at the bottom, followed by your pre-chilled or frozen food, and top it off with more ice or frozen water bottles.
Separation: Keep raw meats near the bottom and store a separate cooler for drinks if you plan to open it frequently.

Robert, a question I'm surprised no ones asked re capacity.
Yeti etc suggest a ice/block ratio to food, do you have a similar ideal ratio, it'd give a better idea for 'usable' volume
If you do are they different for say 48hr v longer duration.
Watching you're vid on testing brought back memories of blast chiller/chiller/ poly box validation cycles I used to do in the medical sector.

I was being tongue in cheek about the beer cans but it is very handy to know the small one can take 6kg of bait.
I cant make up my mind what size to get.

Just to add the bag is not only great for keeping things cool, they are also great at keeping things warm for the times when you leave the lake to pick up a takeaway its great

I’ve just got into the office and loaded a cb15 with kilo bags of sticky - we got 6k in the cb15 and 10k in the cb26

I have both sizes.
I can honestly say they are pukka.
I don’t just use them for fishing.
Been using one smaller 1 since it came out and it really does keep your items cold.
Personally I did find the small version too small for 48hours.
But now the bigger size is perfect.
I use mine 2/3 times as week and they really do keep my food & drinks chilled.
I originally used some slim line freezer packs to help keep the internal area cold but have changed over to use gel freezer bags as they are slimmer and I can slot them more easily between cans and food packs.

Thanks for the positive comments, the questions and suggestions which I’ll take on board and I’ll gladly do my best to answer your questions in due course, we’ve tried to share the answers to most the questions people had regards capacity (which invariably was how many beers will it hold, how long does ice stay frozen for as an example) but I’ll be sure to share how many kilos I can fit in the cb15 and cb26 shortly - but I’d urge people to look at the marketing tests we did which sells the product for me itself

Ive got all the speero cool bags and they are ok but they wont be anywhere near as good performance wise as the latest cotswold coolers.
