Somebody earlier posted a frightfully long list of taxes / duties already payable by many of us. In two years or less ( its already been brought forward to 2028 from 2029 ) there will be another to add to that list. This is the import duty payable on low value items from the likes of Temu, Aliexpress, Shein etc. The EU has already implemented their version, whereby each item within an order which falls into a different category / product code incurs a separate 3 Euro import duty fee. It's even possible that various items of terminal tackle made from different materials ie steel, rubber, plastic, silicone, tungsten etc could have their own codes and duty on each item. So you could order 10 different items and incur 10 separate import duty fees which could exceed the actual cost of your initial order. Fill your boots lads while you can, cos the bubble is gonna burst

In reply to Post #93 As my old man found to his horror, a lot of their stuff is also drop shipped. His spanking new gazebo came with Chinese labels....and the feet missing. Took him nearly a month to put it up once all items were in his hands.
This is the problem. We have come to the point where companies are now finding it's easier and cheaper to allow the manufacturer to send direct. Those claiming to be "manufacturers" are merely drop shipping themselves.
A few have found out the hard way that when you just point at an item at a catalogue whilst visiting Pudong on a business trip, your customers get a bit peeved when they realise the company you bought from hard zero input into the design and distribution.

B&Q yes but only for their online products, not everything they sell.
B&Q operates an online Marketplace where thousands of products are sold by third-party verified sellers. When you order one of these items, the third-party seller ships it directly to you rather than B&Q stocking and dispatching it themselves.
And the warranty is with the seller not B&Q just be careful that you get a manufacturerās warranty from them that way your covered, if the seller goes bust

In reply to Post #80 Itās quite big on eBay now as well
There was a couple of products listed quite near to me and I asked if it was held in the local depot so I could go and pick it up as it was quite an urgent requirement to finish a job I was on and couldnāt be sourced even more local
They did to be fair say they didnāt hold it in stock and said it would be shipped from the manufacturer.

In reply to Post #89 I agree. He's definitely not sending them out.
All he's doing is posting link so people can find items quickly and easily.
I've had a few bits. All looks good to me.

In reply to Post #80 This drop shipping is news to me.
I saw this post on Craig's fb timeliness, and not sure about it.
The guy claims that Craig is sending the products out, but I'm sure it must be coming from Temu direct.
Also, the guy seems to be a rather keen promoter!
Maybe on the next level discount list, whats next, Temu sponsored anglers š«£
Thanks Craig Mitchell for sending me out the terminal tackle just in time for France š«š· all looks and feels great mate.
Time to get amongst them. Keep your eyes š peeled for feedback on the products to put the haters to bed.
Guys visit WWW.nocarptax.com and take a look at the great website Craig has put together for you to make your angling affordable and miss out the middleman.

In reply to Post #87 He says itās growing every dayā¦.
As said I think it started from a good place & now itās just become an attention and financial venture. It was stated that all profits would go to young anglers & back into angling⦠letās see in 6 months whatās happened.
