Sad news 😢

Years ago he sent me photos for the gallery and I always wanted to get out there to fish. Canada / St Lawrence still on my bucket list

Paul retired a while ago and by coincidence his wife has just announced he has passed away due to a blood disorder.

Back in the day, when it was a thing to fish in Canada, me and a group of friends went two years running self guided. We stayed in Morrisburg and fished the river around that area. I even caught two 40 lbs commons in 10 minutes when a 30 was hard to come by. If you get your act together it's very doable.

I've fished it a few times with CCH but as said above he's stopped trading... not sure I'd risk a solo visit without a guide but I guess it's possible

Hi Peeps,

I’m looking for a place in the US or Canada, that run a fishing holiday, I used to holiday with Bernie Haines and his wife in Massena, New York state, and I know Paul Hunt was running holidays in Canada (Canadian Carping I think), around the same time (a little time after Bernie), but I can’t seem to find anything thats currently operating, Anyone know of a company running these types of holidays on the St Lawrence?

Tight lines peeps.

Steve
