Just having a look Mike it appears quite straightforward and a scenic route .

Yeah second the second post. I always do that, or almost always, coming from holland but same principle. It is just lovely. And with google maps it is a breeze. Stop for a local coffee, go to a nice supermarket and buy some fresh lunch and enjoy the surroundings. And whilst doing it you see so many nice waters with nobody there. Excellent way to travel.

Yep. Was on my own a few years ago and drove down to vitry-le-francois. Took a bit longer, but a nice drive as you see more. Main problem was the dreaded p-stop. Just make sure the satnav is up to date and trust it.

Hi, has anyone driven down from Calais to Reims NOT on the toll roads “. I'm not sure if it's a stop start, roundabout, giveway etc journey. It's about £25 one way on the Toll road.
I've got all day to do the trip.
So has anyone tried the "no toll options?"

I've got a tag "bib and go" which is great as I'm travelling solo.

Cheers Mike
