a pin goes up and down the inside of the spring, likely the spring has twisted or actually broken stopping the pin full movement, take the screws out the side with the line roller, should be able to see whats wrong

I’m hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction on the following before I send my reel off for repair……
The bail arm on one of my original Daiwa ISO’s suddenly stopped opening fully and will now only open 2/3rds of the way. It won’t go past that 2/3ds point despite trying a reasonable level of force. Even at that 2/3rd point it won’t stay open (as it would if you opened it the full way to cast out). Anyone know what might be causing this? Broken bail arm spring perhaps?

Thanks in advance
