Decided to stick with the Avid, ‘if it ain’t bust’ and all that, just reversed it on the spools, as good as new

In reply to Post #5 The temu braid looks much lighter in the pictures, but its much darker in the flesh.

In reply to Post #4 The temu braid does look different to the avid, ive also used it the last couple of years and like post 2 found it very good particularly in weed it isn't the best sinking but does cast better.
If its a heavy sinking braid you was after i would look at the thinking anglers but for an all round braid the avid is very good

In reply to Post #3 Hmm, just had a look at the Temu braid, looking at the pictures in the reviews it looks totally different to the Avid stuff 🤷♂️

In reply to Post #1 A mate is using this Temu stuff and he reckons its the same as the avid braid.
I have seen it on his reels and it looks the same, casts very well, and not over buoyant like some braids.

I have used it for a couple of seasons including on the river in France. Really like its good value, seems like a neutral buoyancy, which i like as I prefer it to sit over weed rather then bed in. It's a bit course so could be harsh on rod rings, but I like it as it seems to cut through weed. When fishing into heavy weed I haven't found anything better. Also I like the camo effect seems to make it blend in more compared with a solid colour braid.

Been using this all season and very impressed, Just wanted to hear from anyone that has also used it and if they have found an even better alternative, just wondering whether to stick with it or not.
