Only been once..2 years ago. midweek so queue at gate wasn't so bad. Drive up to the lodge/tackle shop pay and get a sticker for your bucket..go pick a swim. If I remember correctly you then return to the Lodge for net mat etc and tell them where you've chosen.
The tracks around the lakes were atrocious though it was fun watching the hot hatch brigade grounding exhausts ,sills etc

Hi all,

Me and a mate are considering a trip to Norton Disney in a couple of weeks Friday to Sunday (I know it’ll be busy).

My question is what’s the situation with the gate, is it just a line of cars waiting for it to open and are people really camping over night ? Also, do you just buy a ticket and then you can have a look round and choose where to fish ?

Cheers
