I usually make mine up 4-5 days before I go and have never had any problems. When I went on holiday this year I made them up 3 weeks in advance and again they were fine. I use boilie crumb, bag mix and bloodworm pellets. Liquids are always added just before use.

The oil in the pellet may make it take longer to dissolve
Again, depends on the make up.
I’d be happy a week in advance. got some over a year (Christmas day 24 ) old made up but I would Chuck one in a bucket of water first before I cast out with one that long made up lol.
