the large Gardner rig bin is what I use, got them pre tied from 2 to 9 foot and being larger the coils aren't as tight

You're probably right and tbh, I often think that when using floater hook links. I'm not going to have varying length zigs, just 1 for the mo so don't need that many spools of pre made.
This is my overflow pouch as it stands. None guru winders, 3 groove winders bought off Temu last year.

Now I love a box or pouch and to be prepared - and have had various winders, but the penny dropped last year, it takes me about 30 seconds to tie a zig - so I use the smallest TA pouch with the spool of line hooks and the aligners I use. I reckon I would tie one in about the same time as it took me to take one off a spool, cut to length, figure of 8 and thread a sleeve on.

I've had a pretty exhaustive look around the net and I'm coming to the conclusion it may be a pouch of some sort. I'd like to keep my floater line spools, boom/stiff link spools with the zig spools and the only thing I can find which takes spools like that is the Plano Pro Latch line spool holder (or none branded variants) but I need more storage.
I use Guru rig winders, and like that size as it means less coil memory. I bought 2 of the 45mm Korda spools but if I'm honest I won't have room in the tackle box and memory concerns me, probably needlessly.
Then there's the thought of grabbing the bear for a quick floater session and not having to raid the tackle box...hmm..decisions decisions.

I used to store them coiled and tied with a bread tag wrap thingy and place in a clear press bag so very compact but fiddly to unravel if longer say 6ft plus but then switched to those multi EVA spools in a double sided case off flea bay (type sea anglers etc use) and store lots of pre tied lengths from 1ft to 11ft. Anything longer i use a Zig float.
Think the box i have has 16 EVA winders and can get 2/3 rigs on each spool. With these i can label each spool so its all v organised.

What are folks using for zig rig storage on a smaller scale. I normally have 3 EVA winders in a tackle pouch with some spools of line, all in a row, but I'm potentially looking for something else and getting rid of the pouch.
I looked at a Fox Zig & Rig yesterday, the spools are tiny and there's very little room for leaving zigs made up, in fact I think 8mm foam might be deeper than the disc, and that's just 1, it's meant to hold 3. I also like to keep surface rigs made up, again with bait but same room issue. The discs were also very flimsy and as I lifted them out the rims bent over.
I also looked at the korum blox, lovely and compact but same problem re space, and the Korda box with 4 x eva spools is just too big for my needs.
Any ideas? I'm now thinking small Pike rig bin.
