You can get the Daiwa Crosscast 45 for £109 which is a great real for the money, matching spod reel if that floats your boat also. Had mine 5 years now and really like them.

I've got an Okuma on my spare rod and definitely a good reel for the money!

New or used?

Used I'd go Daiwa - Tournie 5000T and their og Spod Reel(s). Heavier and a little retro now but you'll be able sleep at night knowing they'll never let you down . . .

New probs Okuma 8k and spend the change on whatever spod reels you fancy

Hi all, looking for a set of 3 reels and also 2 spod/marker reels. Looking at a budget of probably £150 per reel approx. What’s best for the money please?
