Greys are good for spares, they found me a top section for a rod they discontinued 3 years prior.

Once discontinued their stock would end up at kp spares so would be available u til he runs out.

Are the Greys Aircurve MK2 discontinued now or not? It says on google they have been discontinued, yet one tackle shop I spoke to said he could order them in and not many shops sell them either? Don't want to be in a situation where I cannot get any spare tips etc if anything unfortunate happens?

Get the 3.5 mate, I've got the 3.25s, and they are definitely not a distance rod, nice rods, but for bags and distances of 120, I would get the 3.5, they still have a nice action.
My friend has a set.

The 3.25lb will do that job for you as well. I've got a set and love them. Can use for them for the purposes you outline and also used them on small intimate waters dropping leads in the edge. The 3.25lb is a truly versatile rod

I've got a set of the 3.5 MK2, and they are fine for that sort of work.

For factory rods, they are superb for the money. I've got other sets of rods from century and the like, and honestly... I think the Grey's punch well above their weight.

Hi guys are the Greys Aircurve MK2 12ft 3.5 a stiff rod? Want to fish medium PVA bags up to 80 yards and small PVA bags/4oz leads to over 100 yards up to 120 yards? Are the 12ft 3.5 OK to play fish on or would I be better with the 12ft 3.25? Opinions welcome thanks?
