Have 5 pike bait rod's built by Tony. Harrison P5 & BB350. Fast communication, and reasonable build time. No bling bling builds, just proper fishing tools built for the job.

Yeah Tony is great - he live's local to me and has built me a set of rods and then rebuilt them a second time (after i snapped one).

Pretty much as Vossy says, he will tell you what works and what doesn't, he wont upsell you at all. And you just need a clear understanding of what you want from the rods and bear in mind that you will never get a perfect all rounder.

The quality is impeccable, and he will always update you if there are any issues or anything that doesn't looks right to him (from your requests) during your build.

He still builds customs for Harrison i believe and is a reliable ear for Steve Harrison when they are developing new rods.

He's very honest, doesn't tell you what you want to hear, and may disagree with you, but his work is excellent. I was in convo with him regards making my rods, and was close to using him, but went with Kev Clayton as I worked nearer Kev at the time. There were a few lads with TKs rods on a syndi I was on (reason I enquired with him) and the work was very good
