Usually with old bait, I use it for groundbait etc or preferably give it to the birds out in the garden, they seem apreciative of it especially this time of the year and at least you know its being put to a good use when you see them feeding on it rather than maybe just rotting on the bottom of a pond or river.

What I would do is just bag it up and everyday, make a paste with water and throw it out onto the lawn or put it on a bird table which is what I use.

Mix it all together and use it for ground bait

I was thinking the same thing, although a bit late in the year/season to start piling a load of groundbait into the river.
At 20% thats going to bulk out lot of layers mash, can imagine the shoal of bream sitting on that in June

I was thinking the same thing, see how the fish react to it. It may not be what it once was but who says the fish won't be attracted to it for that very reason.

Don't apply human values to fish

I've used 'old' fishmeals before just not this old, caught well on them too..better than the fresh stuff..

Definitely give it away I’m no bait buff but even if it was any good the minute you blanked it would be the baits fault
And you would be blaming yourself

So um it's been about 10-11 years since I last made any boilies and about the same length of time since I saw the back of my shed.
Now that it's cleaned out...I have rediscovered two 100 litre screw top drums- rubber sealed and clamped tops.

Inside- drum#1 quite a stash of base mix ingredient. semo, soya, birdy,,caesins, egg, powders, WPC, liver
All double bagged and free flowing.. the only bag that seems to have suffered is the remains of a kilo of betaine HCL
I'd guess the milks are functional as wallpaper paste?

drum#2..
fishmeals- unopened bags purchased from AA baits before family commitments killed the fishing stone dead.
20kg of lt-94
10kg squid meal
10kg of predigested.
Opened one of the LTs and a predigested..smell clean and not at all rancid or musty

Donate it to the old chap across the road for his allotment?
