This was my favourite rod for years. Saved up 6 weeks of paper round money to buy one. Used it as a spinning rod, stalking rod, chub / barbel rod for years. Still have it buried somewhere in the garage.

anyone who had one will tell you.
An 8ft rod that was rated at about 2.5lb, but had a sweet progressive action.
Hit and hold in snags with 15lb big game straight through and you could feel the dupion flexing under your forearm, but still soft enough to floater fish in open water with a 6lb hooklength.
I have great memories of my son catching lots of double figure carp while floatfishing meat at the rod end in 2ft of water and both of us laughing as we got splashed as the fish bow waved away.
So versatile, and this was well before stalking rods even were a thing.

I first saw these rods at the first carp society Wembley conference, not sure what year.
Me and a mate were helping the NW RO with setting up the floor plan and guiding the stallholders.
Once proceedings were underway we had a walk around and on one of the stalls a guy was showing the punters the new dam Andy Little stalking rod. There was quite a crowd so we hung around to see what was going on.
The guy on the stall was saying how nice these rods were and he asked a guy to have a wiggle of one. While the punter was holding the rod the guy from the stall was saying bend on it like you've got a fish on. The punter was too timid, go on, really bend it he said.
Oh no, I might break it...
Nah you'll be ok, it won't break!
Now I was interested...
Pass it here mate, I said. Grab the tip eye.
With the stall holder holding the tip eye i tried to lift him off the ground but the rod just wouldn't break.
Me and my mate handed over £30 each immediately and we both loved and abused those rods for years.

My first pair of carp rods were DAM Andy Little 12ft 2.75, bought them at a carp show in Germany early 90's when i was serving. I rekon they were DM100 each iirc.

Like a lot of Anglers of his generation. There star burns bright for a while. Then along comes the next boy wonder.. 
They all just disappear of the Radar.
Ritchie Macdonald.. lost his way for a few years. Fought a few demons.. but now back fishing thankfully.
Kevin Maddocks... Got divorced.. lost his fisheries in the split.. now living in Spain.. Not fishing apparently..
Andy little.. stepped away from Carp fishing.. still fishing though. And as mentioned offering a guiding service..who remembers his bite alarms. His range of flavours through Croydon Angling. His association with Crafty catcher baits and the fishing brand DAM.
His catches from Frensham and Savay lake were legendary at the time.
