I have the original Fox Voyager from maybe 12 years ago, use it in France for 3-4 weeks a year, it has been 100% reliable, strong, not falling apart at all. I can't really say how it compares to the newer version they have out now though, could be very different fabric wise etc, I would expect Fox to have cheapened it as per normal. I have a tempest V2 bivvy that I sometimes use in the UK, so not the 200, but never use the front panel because Trakker are absolutely f***ing clueless about how to make a front panel that works, and fits. All this bs about speed of putting up means you need a fan / block type of bivvy, utter tosh. Pram hood is fine and if the bivvy / front is well designed it will be fine for you in France..

Yeah its the brolly tempest with winter wrap making it a bivy.
But yeah its not big enough , did not know bout the extender for that one , but anyway want a big bivvy for yearly france trips that i can get everything and the kitchen sink in and 2nd bed chair if wanted and dog .
I like to have a bit of space and set up as a home from home for the week ,

So iv got it down to the tempest 200 or the fox voyager 2 man bivvy

The tempest brolly which is what I think you mean you already have is fine, I've done weeks in France under one. If you want more room you can just get a utility front for it to extend it to a 2 man size

My dad has just bought a tempest 200 and also my brother for our next france trip next summar and want plenty room , so i was gona also get one of these intill i was on my club water a few weeks back and a feller there had a fox voyager 2 man bivvy .
This thing was huge and looks a bit taller then the tempest 200 .

I fancy somthing diffrent to the other boys but is the fox upto the same standerd
Both are around £400 mark so not top end bivvys in there range
What would you choose out the 2 , anyone with feedback on both .
Would prob get a winter wrap at later date 2
