In reply to Post #1 Why not Delks? Brilliant, compact alarms - I have TXIDs and EVDs . . .EVDs are perfect for river fishing / barbel & chub bashing and although now discontinued can be picked up for a bargain!

In reply to Post #1 Wolf Icon Qi, 4 year warranty so nothing to worry about if something does happen, and Daletronics will service after that (I asked). Quite often reduced, shop around
I have no complaints so far but its early days, I don't miss my modern Fox RX+ they replaced Had a couple of odd behaviours happen but after factory reset & repairing all is good. The after service contact for me has been A1.
If Qis hadn't been available I would have gone back to the older Fox RX Digitals.

Old RX digis/LXRs/DXR/SXV would all be very similar to your old alarms. All command a fair price these days.

In reply to Post #1 None have vibration sensing other than delkims as far as I'm aware. If you want something mega sensitive, and can find them then bitech vipers maybe. A fly farts 100 yards away and they bleep

I use to have a set of alarms, years back, fox micron LXRs. They had a vibration sensitivity on them. Just a tap on side of alarm for trigger alarm. The line didn't have to move, j7st a knock on the rod would set it off.
Perfect for chub on the river.
A few times I've had a rod near pulled in my chub. I have the bait runners on but somethings not smooth enough. Been using normally roller wheel type alarms but not much use.
I don't want delkims, i believe the line still has to pass over the sensor to sound alarm anyway.
I'm after a cheapish alarm that if you tap the side of the alarm it will sound.
Any ideas?
I might have to hold out for a set of LXRs at the right price but.....
