In reply to Post #10 Made a mistake with that version
The solar and Nash ones had a hole through the centre so you could feed the tubing through the threader to where you want it placed.
Not so sure, the image from the video launch shows a hole in the rear of the handle, surely that's to allow the tube through to position whatever wherever on the tube...could be wrong though.

In reply to Post #1 Cut the tubing at 45° and it should thread into the tail rubber ok.
If you need to thread a bead then make two cuts into the tubing at a very shallow angles to make a long thin v, then thread onto the bead and pull through.
Maybe try a pellet bander to open the end of the tail rubber.
BTW, if using leadcore its good to make a small 45° cut in the end of the tail rubber so it can more easily pass over the end of the leadcore if fishing semi fixed in non weedy or snaggy conditions.

Thanks I might have to try something like that, will have a look in my local sea fishing tackle shop.

In reply to Post #1 Not what you're asking, but if there are no made alternatives you can use a section of plastic sea fishing boom, cut the front at a 45 deg angle to make it easier to thread, before I got a Solar one.

Solar Tackle & Nash seemed to stop selling tube tools for inserting beads or anti tangle sleeves on tubing.
Any body come across an alternative tool from another manufacturer please?
