I have some 3.5 in 12ft and I would say they are definitely on the softer side

Thanks for the reply ,

i was orininally thinking 3lb tc but thats sums it up they will be too light ,just dont to have 3.5s which are like broom handles for it .

The terry hearns look great to be fair but i think they’re out of my budget at the moment .

Thanks

Hello mate,

I went for 3lb kaizen greens and they felt soft. Casting accuracy was OK to around 60-70 yards.

If I'd bought higher tc I might have been happier but ended up with some ESP Terry Hearns which do everything, so maybe one to consider? Second hand market as good as it ever was too 👌

Welcome back 👍

First post in a good few years after selling up a while back ,I used to fish with century NCS 2.75tc rods and loved them ,I don’t want to spend that sort of money on rods at the moment. I’m starting back up and need everything so trying to keep the cost down a bit ,I will be mainly fishing small waters with the odd bigger water away trip .I been thinking about getting the 12ft 3.5tc kaizens .

They say these are a true alrounder?people that own or have owned what’s the 3.5 like under the tip and fishing In margins ,I want a set of rods to use for everything without over gunning it on smaller waters but still able if I want to bang a good bag out .

Thanks in advance
