Thinking about getting carp drunk to catch them easier

Especially on the hard waters

We used to put them out in the garden so the pheasants ate them, they would then fall over drunk.

My dad would then go out and pick one for Sunday dinner!!

Has anyone used those yet?

I remember a guy I was fishing with some 30 years ago who soaked boilies (if my memory serves me well I reckon they were Enforcer Fruit Cocktail at the time) in neat rum. He completely outfished me on the canal this night.

Now I'm thinking if raisins drenched in rum or whisky could be a nice alternative bait.

Another idea would be tigers cooked and soaked in it. Would be a bit more cray-prove.

The nice thing about the water I want to try them on is that there are no nuisance fish about.
