In reply to Post #12 I have V1's, two out of three had the volume pot issue, one had battery drain, they denied all knowledge, sent me brand new alarms while claiming they had repaired them (at a cost of over £100), and one of the replacements has developed the volume issue again!
I am close to moving to Fox RX plus, so sick of Delkim.

In reply to Post #19 The first batch of v1s didn't have the option. For the option the receiver needs an update which is free of charge. I never bothered doesn't bother me

In reply to Post #12 Does anyone ever check the voltage level of the new batteries before inserting- probably not in the case of most people.
In the case of the alarm if ruling out the battery, then high current consumption. Possibly caused by a short circuit, perhaps the alarm got dropped and something internally got damaged.
Let’s be honest we forget they are electronics products it’s not like they are built to military specifications for shock & vibration.
I like delkim a family run business with products designed and built in the UK

In reply to Post #14 To turn off the flashing light on a Delkim Txi-D receiver, you need to switch off the receiver and then switch it back on while holding both push buttons (PB1 and PB2) until confirmation tones are heard. Then, release the buttons to confirm the setting.

In reply to Post #11 2x sets of V1s - never had any issues either. Only weird thing is the first set I bought the receiver flashes sporadically to let you know 'its on' . . . not sure if they updated this as my 2nd set does not do this . . .
Currently using Slimlites (I'm way behind on this) that I recently bought direct from Delkim at a reduced price and so far liking them!

In reply to Post #10 My V1s - never had a problem.

In reply to Post #7 all 3 of my v1s developed the same problem, volume still coming out the heads with the volume completely down. it was a known problem that delkim refused to admit and charged me 30 quid per alarm to fix...yes I got three working alarms back but how long before having to spend another 90 quid....
I think the confusing set up and colour change option was a smoke screen to cover the amount of problems they had with the v1s and had no choice to release the v2 so might aswell do the led colour change and simplify the set up at the same time.

In reply to Post #6 no, it doesn't come as standard as its impossible to tell forward and backward movement via vibration
think they went with a new version due to all the complaints of "so hard to change settings" "oh boohoo i cant change the led colors"
honestly wonder if these carp anglers sit all session fiddling with their alarm settings and what color shall we have today....

I agree. Donkeys years without a new model then almost two released at once. Also had one of my three txids suffer from a battery drain issue.
