I saw the searcher in go outdoors yesterday, nearly bought it for wandering along the river but quite expensive for the size I'd say. They also had a fox voyager rucksack which looks similar size and that was only £37.
My mate has the drennan super specialist which is good as that has the unhooking mat clips also and that's only about £60.

So, the size and design are the same then ? Looking like a toss up between the Scout, ESP Quickdraw and the Korda 35 as an outsider, then.
I do like the idea of the clip on unhooking mat for the ESP .... decisions, decisions.

Looks to me like the scout has replaced the searcher in the range

Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the two rucksacks, as they look identical ??
Living in the U.S., I have to buy sight unseen, no shops to see carp gear in the flesh.
I wonder if there's a difference in size or capacity, as they look so similar.
Looking to get a smaller bag for my short local day sessions, as I am currently taking far too much gear with me !
As usual, thanks in advance, for any info or feedback.
Any alternative suggestions also welcomed.
