ABS for me, used a few of their baits now and all have been superb in stabilised.

Swapped from DNA freezer baits to shelf life many years ago and can't say I've noticed a difference in quality or catch results.
Been using bug shelf for a few years now

In reply to Post #13 I did well on the artic crab acouple years ago, not sure why I never bought it again. All there baits produce fish and cover most boilie types from what I remember.

In reply to Post #1 For short sessions and small patches of bait I’d seriously look at CC Moore Pro Stim liver. I’ve been using it for this purpose mainly because it’s readily available where I live near the factory.
It’s really pungent and has a paste like texture straight out the bag even in shelf life, in my head making it perfect for this type of fishing. I’ve also never felt the need to cover it in expensive liquids because it breaks down so fast in the water giving off attraction anyway.
Isnt my choice for all types of fishing I do but short sessions over small quantities of boiles like you describe I think it’s spot on.

Trent Baits or RG Baits, both really good shelfies.

In reply to Post #1 Trent Baits’ Freshwater Shrimp and SAS Squid are good in stabilised.
Handcrafts Herb is also very good.

Handcraft, ABS baits and Essential Baits shelf life baits are all superb and I would happily use any of them with confidence.

In reply to Post #1 Also consider vac sealing (rather than buying baits with preservative). . . reduces freezer space. Also keeps bait fresh in the fridge for an age if freezer is not an option. . .
You could also go down the air-dry / salt curing route - depends how rodent free your shed/garage is. . .
