In reply to Post #1 The tip rings have that stupid lip that loves a frap up so if you are actually going go use them to chuck a but, factor in the cost of getting them replaced

In reply to Post #1 Yep I've got a set and use them all the time.
Absolutely love these rods. Upgraded from the 12ft 3.25lb CTX and worried I would lose playing action. I've really not noticed it. I've had fish to upper 30s from v weedy lakes needing to put the pressure on; fished at 120yards relatively easily as a bang average caster.
I'd recommend highly.
I've not got lots of experience of similar priced rods - Kaizen Greens; Tacklebox CFX etc which I'm sure I'm great. I love these rods tho.

In reply to Post #1 I had some not long after they were released, so going back a few years.
They felt thick and heavy to me, did cast a fair distance, but I didn't enjoy fishing with them.
Can you go check them over maybe even go fishing with them before buying?
Edit: £300 probably isn't far off 3 x Kaizen Greens which are a much lighter blank and seem to have a good following.

In reply to Post #1 I have the 3.25lb version and really like them, lovely action which makes casting accurately easy and nice to play fish on. Realise the ones you're looking at are the more distance orientated version but if in good condition I'd say £300 is great value.

Hi there,
Any users past or present of these rods please?
Someone local is selling a set at a reasonable price ( £300 ) so I was considering them...#
Thanks all
