New Tempest 150 def more useable space with a flatter back and versatility (for 2 anglers) with a social cap etc . . .Pioneer better built and has much thicker fabric - not enough room for 2x bedchairs but room for wideboy and chair etc - Pioneer has better visibility and plenty of headroom!

I ditched my Pioneer 150 as I have an Ultralite and V2 Tempest as well and found the 150 too large to lug on shorter sessions (albeit roomy and comfortable for a solo angler) . . . . On balance if I were you I'd actually go for the new Tempest 100 Bivvy and get a social cap . . .best of all worlds

I'm also overdue a new bivvy, quite like the look of the wychwood epic but again would like to see it in the flesh before committing, and also not been around that long to guage other people's experience of it.. anyone out there got one?

Just setup my new 150. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it but it did take me a while, plenty of bad language. Didn't realise how big it was!

If getting older I'd avoid pioneer as it is quite low inside because of the shape

Morning

I'm looking at treating myself to a new bivvy, even though my old faithful Venture is still ok, it's a pain to put up and getting more painful the older it gets (and the older I get),

Think I've narrowed it down to either a Trakker Tempest 150 or an Aqua Pioneer 150 but struggling to see them both in real life to gauge which one would suit me and my fishing.

I'm using a wide Solar bedchair but like a fair amount of space in the bivvy for all the other ***** I take with me, prefer a thicker fabric as I like a dark space and a minimal/no amount of condensation.

At some point, my boy will be coming with me so I'd like to future proof space as much as possible but think the 200 versions of the above will be too big for now

Does any one have real life experience of either/both of these before I make a decision and take the plunge?
