In reply to Post #1 Screw has less movement and is a risk with softer baits . . . .do use them for barbel however (double baits on a long screw with paste etc) as I'm not casting as far / changing hookbaits more frequently and its less agg on short sessions etc

In reply to Post #1 Swivel all the way

Swivel all the way for me. Screw limits you to a single bait plus more movement in the swivel

Screw for pop-ups and wafters. Swivel for snowman style.

Micro ring swivel for me. never had the confidence to try a bait screw for some reason.

Why not both?
I've started using a bait screw that has a small swivel attached as I wanted more bait movement and had no issues so far 😁👍 Bank Tackle sell them.

I’ve used both with out any problems

In reply to Post #1 Micro ring, I’ve had a bait screw come apart on the cast which has knocked my confidence.

In reply to Post #1 Micro swivel personally, just allows a bit more movement I feel.

What's everyone's preference when tying a D rig, incorporating either a metal bait screw or a micro swivel.
