After watching Samir Arebis latest youtube video (wish I knew the lake he was on as it was amazing) me and a mate has decided to take our inflatables and go for a proper explore in France end of September for a week.

My question is can anybody recommend big public lakes with a good body of fish. The main thing for me is to get away from people. I went Mervent last year and it was a nightmare with people swimming over my lines and woman bathing naked in front of my 14 year old (no doubt he enjoyed it ). It must also allow night fishing.

Any recommendations would be appreciated so I can have a look
