I asked Chris brown a few years back to do me a landing net pole with a threaded end so I could attach me own block. Couldn't do it for some reason. Would only sell the full net with attached block.

Ive got the buzzard landing net with the long mesh. Great for holding the fish in whilst spiked into the ground. It also floats

Maybe considering it's custom he might do one with a standard threaded end, if you ask him let me know

A few years ago I asked the same question of a custom maker and the answer was no. I just don't get it, it's custom or it's not!...ho hum.

Would you rate the Matrix net or the Johnson Ross/Harrison net higher? Both cost about the same...

Look at Johnson Ross tackle website they have just released their matrix 3k landing net handles in 3 different lengths in 2 piece in both 8ft and 6ft and a 9ft telescopic version could pair it up with their matrix black allow spreader block and net arms and mesh for well under your budget of £200 . I have their one piece handle landing net and it’s a quality landing net with nice stiff handle on it . U won’t be disappointed
