I’ve had this in the past. Only way I’ve got round it is to use a pop up instead of foam or a pop up and foam, caught a few doing this on 15lb 0.40mm

Off to France in a few weeks, and from what I can gather the use of Zigs by anglers is sparse, however they are allowed. The problem is the mainline and hook link rule is minimum of 0.40mm diameter, so any suggestions on which hooklink to use?

It seems that most 'dedicated' zig link materials go up to 15lbs in BS of which the diameter is well below that of 0.40mm.
