In reply to Post #10 Nutrabaits souluables are decent enough. Five-star so them too (not tried these). Think they are a bit to different to the old ball pellets. I remember them to be like pumice stone texture. New ones look and feel like a boilie.

In reply to Post #9 Yes Nutrabaits are advertising the soluble boilies in their main flavours now.
Don't know if their quality is back to what it was in Bill's days though??

In reply to Post #8 Nutra baits brought back the soluble range recently I'm sure I saw it advertised.

In reply to Post #3 I never used the Nash ones but Nutrabaits also did a ball pellet along the same lines. I wish they'd bring them back, great for use as mentioned, I used to 'kebab' mine on a stringer, alternating with boilies on either end as a 'stop'.
A long time after they stopped making them I bought the carp tart pellet maker so I could make custom pellets to match my home rolled....might try that again sometime.

Blast from the past! .... I still have a few tubs of these that I bought from the guy who supplied them to Nash

Tried these on the river many years ago great to keep rig untangled

In reply to Post #4 Absolutely loved them, helps keep a rig tangle free as well....really surprised they not more in the forefront of carp fishing.

In reply to Post #1 had plenty of fish on those - forgotten how good they were

In reply to Post #1 We're these the cylindrical dissolvable baits with a hole through the middle. Which as you say you could thread down your hooklink? If so, I don't think they make them anymore? Could try making your own with one of the stick press things that are out there. Forget what they call them. There is a recent thread knocking about if interested.

In reply to Post #1 I'm fairly sure I'm right in saying that these used to be made for Nash by a company called Ant Baits. Possibly owned by Clive Dietrich?
I used loads of them and the Solubles, great idea IMO.

Hi All,
I used to use the nash chain reaction with soft hook links. I can't see that Nash still do them. Does anyone know if any other company produces something similar? Thanks
