I would recommend Cromwell lovely well run lake, went to trent view once and drove straight back out. Far too busy and close together.

i used to fish them a while back,i found pits 1 and 3 to be best

You could try Trent View, get's a bit busy though at weekends but where doesn't? Pegs are also a bit close to each other from memory. There's also Cromwell Lake, Office Lake Fishery, not been to either of these.

hi all.im just getting back into carping after years off.
i will only be doing a couple of day sessions or couple of weekends a month and was wondering if people can recommend anywhere local to clifton in nottingham.
used to fish places like A1 pits, sapphire lakes, oakham leisure and notts anglers and pride of derby.
But not sure if they are still good to go to,not after really hard waters as will be trying to get my lad into it and wont convince him if never catch.lol
Anybody fished the specimin lake at rhycroft fisheries or riddings??
