I make my own nut bait. 100% know what is in it. As well as the nut meals it has some high quality milk and yeast products plus plenty of liquid hydro wheat. So its not just breadcrumb and sawdust, it's the real deal.

I tend to roll a batch every 4-5 weeks at the moment and find they keep very well in the fridge this long whilst I have trickled it in over the winter each week. Much longer than 5 or 6 weeks and the white sugars start to appear but still no mold etc so far from going off.

Which company was it?

Confidence is everything so if you feel the need to change do so.

My personal opinion you're worrying about nothing. They're in a fridge, you haven't said at what temp but regardless spoiling will be retarded and if at 1 or 2deg virtually stopped.

I've always used freezer bait, mostly S7 and SLK, for the last 4–5 seasons. However, last season, S7 my usual go-to wasn't producing the results I typically expect. I purchased some nut based boilies from what seems to be a popular company.

I took about a KG out and stored it in the fridge, ready for a session. Long story short, that session never happened, and I left the boilies in the fridge. It's been about four weeks now, and the bait has not changed in any way. The bag clearly states that it is freezer bait, but surely it should have turned by now?

I'm now considering ABS, but with 16+ boilies to choose from, I have no idea where to start. I guess most people go for the latest options, which would be K2 or Hydra, but I would love to hear other people's opinions. I don't mind mixing a few together.
