In reply to Post #37 Didn't get down my club water as planned but had a social day out on a day ticket.Thinking it would be a bit easier.
Saw loadss of fish showing but couldn't get them to bite. Either on the zigs of bottom.
My mate had a couple of pike out on deadbait so at least I saw something on the bank.
My 2025 blank continues. Hopefully not for long tho!

In reply to Post #37 Went mallard(bluebells). Caught 3 mirrors off solid bags and a small pike hitting my bait on the retrieve lol.
Fish were showing Friday then went quiet rest of the weekend.

Anyone do any better with the warm weather?! A friend did a couple of nights on the local water and he didn't catch. Still feels tough going out there.

Loads of mozzies last few days, big stripey buggers, got me a few times, you'd think they'd have better taste

In reply to Post #32 Nice one 👍 Got to say it's very pleasant temp wise here though a little blustery and rain showers when not spitting most of the time.

Warm wind hopefully will get some fish on the bank. I set up yesterday for 3 nights on my syndicate hoping for a fish or 2 on friday with the low pressure, but managed one this morning during the rain, nice 22.6lb mirror

In reply to Post #16 They're doing their normal thing and rarely getting caught, or never getting caught.
We netted last Saturday and two commons came out that have never been caught, 19 and 24lb+. Another previously uncaught 24lb+ came out during the summer.

21mph from the south for Hampshire.
Other than a wet setup, it's gonna be lovely 🤞

You've won half the battle already by just going, and given this wind forecast you'll soon blow those cobwebs away
EDIT, Fri looks fun, 50mph winds in Cheshire!

Thanks Vossy
I've been getting all the bits sorted ready to do a few nights in the kinder months on an easy water, but figured with a weather front coming in I shouldn't wait, so I'm straight in on one of the hardest waters my club have 😂😂
Got that excitement from the anticipation building up already 😃.
