I wouldn't be able to tell you all I know is i have never seen a gap that large

On your spod how far does the spigot actually go in ?

I also thought that maybe as the spod is used alot more and under force that they might be built like this for longevity to the joint...

Hi I've just received the greys prodigy spod and also marker rod. The gap between the 2 sections on marker is about 1.5cm. I would say this is normal based on all the rods I've owned previously. The spod one doesnt push in as much and the gap is nearly 1.5 inches. My question is is this normal for this rod? I don't think it is...
