Get up to oxford and choose one of those pits.

Broadlands is OK, but right next to a motorway so not very relaxing

A very good mate of mine has had a tough 6 months, and lost his buzz for fishing.

I want to take him somewhere in the next month or so, where we have a great chance of a few fish, but ideally not a ‘hole in the ground’. Happy to travel 50 miles or so from mid Sussex.
