The Seaguide TDG with Adaman coating are meant to be an improvement on the older PVD coated stainless lined guides (maybe some of the rod builders on here can tell you about the longevity ?) - and im sure theres people with minima type guides that havent yet seen problems.

But if you want to be a lot more reassured about not having guide wear with braid or fluorocarbon then get ceramic guides, most are made from Zirconia now, Seaguide, Kigan, Alps. Even korda offer their 10ft Greens with Seaguide zirconia now for braid fishing.

Theres a good reason why all the tip rings are now ceramic with rods with SS+PVD lined main guides.

Been out of the game for a long time and just getting back into it. Just wondered if anyone could tell me if Seaguide TDG guides on the Kaizen Greens are suitable for use with braided mainline?
