They did not lose many and also since then they have re stocked it. Check out their Facebook page and see the stunners that they have put in. It's not a hard lake anyway and is very well stocked regardless.

I'll add they lost a few carp in autumn so not quite as prolific as it used to be. I did a blank night in December which is the first blank on there I can remember!

Hi
After fishing Elsons at Stanwick a few times last year and catching nowt (my fault, I'm rusty and impatient !) I'm looking at fishing Mallard lake as I've heard it has a few more fish in there and isn't as hard a lake as Elsons, I'll potentially be buying a season ticket as since my split from my wife I have more time for me.
Has anyone fished it recently and have any tips for Mallard?
