Anyone got a mk2, 7000 digital scales ?

How do you tell the difference between the 7000 mk2 and the mk1. Ive been sent a mk 2 box but it looks like it's a mk1 inside. The tare function does not hold when turned off, it resets to zero. Is that the same on both ?
