Ah I see. Plenty of other lakes to go at though.

From the info I've been able to find it suggests that it's recommendation/invite only for that club.

I think you may struggle with that one but good luck!

Thanks mate.

The lakes nearest to where we'll be living are Burnside Lakes, which I think is the Cherry Hinton club. Anyone got any info on these or who to contact? Only a closed FB group that I can find.

I can't really help with syndicates as I'm out of the loop but there's some clubs that spring to mind.

I'm in a similar position as I'm on the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire border.

CFPAS
Waterbeach AC
Biggleswade & Hitchin AC
SWAC
Cambridge Sports Lakes (Milton)

That's all I can think of right now but I'm sure there's others I've forgotten about!

I'm moving up to Cambridge next summer so looking for a few places to put my name down for and a club or two to join straight away.

Current places I'm considering putting my name down for:

Cawcutts and the Roughs Lake
Earith (PCF)

Any other suggestions? The closer to Cambridge the better to be honest.

I'm also keen to find out about Cherry Hinton and District Angling Club as I'll be living really near to the lakes that apparently they have.

Thanks again!
