The problem there is you will be missing critical security updates and won’t be able to update to the latest apps.

It’s all about software upgrade- ability at the end of the day Apple products have a longer life due to IOS gives such a long lifetime.
And from a hardware perspective android OS based products not as robust / long lived from Sansumg offerings to a multitude of Chinese brands..
It’s a pain in the rear updating so the longer I can wait the better imho

Had an iPad but they wanted silly money when i was looking into a new one. Ended up with a Samsung for a fraction of the price and not had any issues.

In reply to Post #1 I have always used apple Phones and i pads, got both for personal and work use.
I like the way they’re linked with the apple ID, so notes, photos etc you take on your phone are automatically updated to your i pad and vice versa.
However the missus has an i pad and Samsung phone, she wont change to an apple phone as she likes the Samsungs, but wont change from her iPad to a Samsung tablet either.
So i suppose it’s what ever you prefer.

I have had 2 iPad Air to date and found them both spot on
First one the battery life started to go and it started to split as a result but I had it a lot of years and used it regular. The only downside is that they are expensive so a Samsung tab etc might be another option if this is the main driver
As with the phones, I love the apple stuff and the operating system

In reply to Post #1 Android.
Apple have too much control, their hardware their operating system, then they go and slow you down and finally obsolete your hardware with their bloatware updates etc.
I have both, one system for work and one for personal use, refused to have a new iPhone recently, there's a reason Samsung sell more phones than anyone else.
