In reply to Post #19 Mitch Plowman (BCUK) has setup a new company selling power barrows for farm/horsey use etc. it’s been posted on the FB groups a few times with links to the page. The guy is a serial business opener/closer and is listed on companies house doing it loads of times.
The Barrowman seems genuine and has been posting on the groups himself.
Boatman literally say on their wheel kit page that it’s the same L-faster kit that is £163 on Aliexpress, but they’re selling it for £177 and you get it delivered next day. Not worth messing about ordering from China.
Seen a few guys having conversions done by South West Barrow Conversions as well, and they are happy with them.

In reply to Post #19 That's what this thread is saying there is another thread about it going under.I think your mate would be best getting onto his bank

Just been speaking to my mate, he has been waiting over 3 months for his conversion from BCUK, sent £500+ months ago, no answer over the phone, or email etc.....he reckons BCUK has gone tits up and is now trading under a new name.......

Asked the same question, no real info of address, company details etc. Might just be me but bit of a coincidence the company was set up just as Bcuk flopped and most of the stuff being advertised is pretty much all the same, even some of the terms & conditions are the same as the bcuk website - p&p part anyways. Me personally i’d be staying well clear!

In reply to Post #14 Theres not much in it once you add the shipping and import taxes

In reply to Post #14 Just guessing, maybe warranty and ease of replacement if stuff goes wrong.

In reply to Post #8 Looks like it’s worth a punt from Boatman, what i cant understand is why they have the direct link to Ali express which is 50% cheaper….
Apart from Boatman having them in stock for a quick delivery why you wouldn’t just order direct fro Aliexpress

In reply to Post #11 There’s also underpowered compared to the conversion kits, Nash and Prestige are 150w wheels, the conversion kits are 300w.
I had a shop bought Nash Evo and it was so underpowered, I took it back to the shop bought the bare barrow and conversion kit separately.

In reply to Post #11 But this thread is about converting barrows, adding an electric wheel to an existing barrow, not shelling out a grand on a new one, fox Nash and solar don't do conversions.
Besides, buy a Nash (or other) barrow and see what help you get if it goes "tits up" outside of 12 month warranty!!

In reply to Post #7 Or you can buy a Prestige, Fox, Solar or Nash barrow.
All companies that offer a warranty and will still be here in 5 years time, oh and they have a history, contact details and a wide SM presence.
When all those Ali Express motorised wheels go tits up in a year or two see the above.

In reply to Post #6 Maybe legit but literally no trace of an address, phone number etc, companies house trading name obviously not company name either

I got the AliExpress one and it a good piece of kit not fitted it as yet as it will be a winter project but there’s plenty of you tube vids on how to convert install them 👍
