I’ve got a pair of unused compacts for sale if anyone wants a set. They’re in the classifieds somewhere or drop me a pm.

Thought I'd post an update on this thread because I've now got one of each version and have given them a bend at home side-by-side.
There's not a whole lot between them, but I did feel the nan-tec version was bending more and had a crisper feel. That being said the commercial version 100% holds it's own against the nan-tec and is still a fantastic rod.

Much appreciated guys

In reply to Post #5 I'd agree. I had the compacts and loved them.
I did see one of the n-tec rods in a shop and had a bend and they seemed the same, just more blingy graphics.

In reply to Post #4 the TFG Compacts (non nan-tec version) are a lovely rod. The Nan-Tec range came out marginally later. My personal opinion is that the Nan-Tec was a marketing play and very little difference apart from subtle aesthetically

I've been looking at getting a pair of carp compacts because I've only heard good things about them.
So, I was hoping someone here might know the differences between the models, and if 1 was rated more highly than the other?

Not sure if you know but TFG ceased trading ages ago so you will only be able to get 2nd hand rods if at all.
Or are you only curious

Was wondering if anyone had owned both of these and could tell me the differences between them?
