Not had one / used one for years.

I just use a RAB body warmer / gillet.

Not cheap but it will outlast a hoody several times over and very lightweight and easy to wear under a top layer / coat.

I'd second the Navitas gear, every item of clothing I've had from them has been great

Got a Mainline hoody and can’t fault it. Washes well, wears great and fits well. Got a couple of their tees also to go under.
100% recommended.

Being dressed well is ingrained in some. Anyone can dress like a tramp. It’s up to the rest of us to make an effort. 😉

I have never liked hoodys and never really understood there popularity ??

simply because if you get too hot you cant really do much about it apart from taking it off
so I always buy the type thats got a full length zip you can undo to cool off

Just get a khaki one off Boohoo for twenty quid. Ideal for spring and autumn evenings but without the advertising sandwich board on the front and back.

Maybe it's just me....

Another vote for the Aldi ones, really well made and I like the built in neck warmer. You can buy one for each day of the week instead of one Nash hoodie...

Probably the best, warmest, thickest and best quality I’ve come across in a long time is the Aldi fishing ones. Don’t be snobby, they are plain and un-logo’d but are superb quality.

They do have a nylon inner neck warmer thingy which you either find useful or don’t get on with. I simply cut them out.

Available in plain black or green and last time I bought one ( 3 in fact) they were around 12 quid each 👍

Carp clothes.co.uk definitely worth a look. Got a few bits from them, including a snoopy and also bought a fair bit for my son. All good quality and decent prices. A carp brand that I also recommend is Navitas, they are a clothing brand catering for anglers rather than a tackle company doing a bit of clothing so again the quality is good and prices better than most tackle branded stuff. Never looked at hoodies on military 1st but bought plenty of other stuff and again quality and value is better than a tackle branded similar item
