In reply to Post #683 Yep, sums it up.
@Tinhead, yes, third world problems but even at 40k a week imagine how long it would take to spend the value he's brought to the club...it's pennies in those sorts of terms.
I read it was just over 2 mill a year, the outs they've given right left and centre, the s**t deals they've brought in....and then they treat one of the greatest managers of all time like that over 2 mill and hide behind cost cutting
If JR Ineos reads this, you should be ashamed of yourself, I bet you pay more to advertising companies, and even if you don't, you've just lost a lot of credibility.
Remind me how much you'll have to pay TH to go having just extended his contract.
Same old, same old, deflection by the Glaziers springs to mind, and you JR were cheap.

In reply to Post #679 They are ****ed. Shower of *****
Role model, inspiration to players and who brought that club more success than they could have dreamed about. Poor show
To be fair, they offered him that, bet he would done the role for transport plus a bit of cover, the club was his life and passion
If TH goes who the **** are we going to get next
I bet fergie has kicked the dressing room to bits based on recent performances, good on him i say

In reply to Post #680 At first I thought it was a bit mean taking his ambassador role of him.
I thought it was a role given to him as a thank you rather than a proper job, but then I found out he was getting £40K a week for it.

Alex Ferguson to leave Man U's anbassador role for cost cutting measures and told to stay away from the dressing room.
About one of the only nice things to see when Man U are playing, the old Scot in his chair, as for not giving advice...if he did, perhaps they'd want to represent the shirt. I can't begin to think what's going through Af mind watching the present drivel.
Ioh well...onwards and downwards

In reply to Post #676 Different scenario IMO.
The clubs he fell out with, PSG and Chelsea, two clubs that are prone to changing managers as much as there kit. Despite that, he deal some good things at both clubs.
He'll be entertaining with the England Team journalists though.
I agree though, good appointment from a Man Utd point of view. They get to keep seven-hag a bit longer

In reply to Post #675 My exact sentiments... he has a reputation for clashing with those above him at clubs.
I think its a good appointment, as a Man United fan, it means he is no longer going to be continually linked to us.

How long before he falls out with the hierarchy at the FA?

In reply to Post #673 You know what, I think so, plays a high tempo game so might be good for us
He might even be able to get Kane on the ball, then what!
