Should be interesting who they get to replace Southgate, an English manager or a Foreign manager.

England were in a weak group and made a mess of it . Had the easiest route to the final and only made that due to an awful penalty decision . Spain beat Germany on home soil and france on the way to the final both of which would have beaten England .Jude bellend did fook all apart from the overhead kick . Kane fook all because of southgates setup. Palmer,Gordon,Trent,Toney, and bowen wasted on the bench .Spain outplayed england last night in all areas and deserved to win.

Yes but with the players we've got we should be the better team.
In getting to the final we shouldn't be relying on last minute goals.
Southgate has taken us as far as he can, it now needs someone else to take us up to the next notch.

End of the day Spain were the better team and they won the game simple.

I thought Walker was superb. Luke Shaw out of position and doubled up on. He did the right thing dropping Rashford, club form he is poor.

That last goal could have gone either way, we had our chances too then you would be singing a different tune. Spain are better in attack buts that’s it for me, it’s their game. We all knew what they would bring

I agree, the first few games were shockingly poor, boring

The question is, when he changed tactics and played with a back 3 was that planned or out of pure desperation, if it’s the latter then he has to go.

Kane is one of the best strikers in the world but Southgate’s set up ain’t playing to his strength, pace of a donkey in comparison to others. I said below, I wish he would have started without him in this game, we needed outright pace to break and counter and we could have beat the Spanish ****s, they are very average when under pressure and the defence is *****

Unfortunately the ideal replacement is taking at least a year off from football...

Got to agree. I said it before, I couldn't see Southgate changing his approach which is a shame and I hold him responsible for the loss. If he'd have started with a more attacking line up or even made the subs earlier I think England would have stood more of a chance. When he did make the subs it changed the game and I thought Spain were there for the taking but they ran out of time, and Bellingham was running on empty by the time he did. Stones had a pretty good match but there were 2 opportunities where he just seemed a little lazy, could have put a leg out and didn't, think the cross for the 1st goal might of been 1 of them, but cqr. Also at times Rice just didn't push into midfield to help Mainoo from being passed around.

I don't think Spain played that well but they did enough, fair play to them.

Can't disagree with any of that really. Same old same old, get to a semi or final via an easy route and as soon as we come up against anyone decent we fold and lose.
I for one will be glad to see the back of Southgate with his negative and uninspiring brand of football.
You'll never win anything with losers in charge we need someone with that winning mentality.
So who would we all like to see in charge?

Nope

Spain were far better and once again, Southgate doesn't play the creative and attacking players. Before Spain scored their second he was about to bring Gallagher and trippier on ffs

You have to feel for players like palmer, Watkins, trent, grealish, even rashford and bowen. And in Bellingham we have a potential ballon d'or player who has been like a gold filling in a glaswegian tramps smile.

Kane was woeful again. Walker at fault for both goals.

So many quality young players who deserve better.

Well...

It's a bit uninspiring so far. Same old for England during this tournament

But that's how they've got to the final so who knows?

Balance looks better with Shaw on the left. Mainoo is anonymous- not helped by pickford kicking long every time.

Williams for Spain looks good.

No Rodri for the 2nd half though so that's a big loss for the Spanish
