In reply to Post #6 I did a weekend in the summer of 2022 when the brothers still controlled it, before it went over to Embryo.
A nice looking venue, two pits, the big and the small (fished there extensively in the late 90's for the tench in the small pit) that are linked by a shallow channel.

In reply to Post #3 It's actually Buckhurst Hill, really, the other side of the M11 from Chigwell.
It sits alongside the river Roding, adjacent to the Central Line between Grange Hill and Woodford.

In reply to Post #1 You won't find much about it, the brothers who used to own it kept it as a very elusive water. Some of the big fish no longer reside in there, they made their way to other waters. Used to be some big old fish back in the day, still a few in there and some nice pike too. Waters very deep, nice and secure too.

In reply to Post #1 all i know is that there is a handful of fish left and the lake is very deep 60ft in places ! its shared with a diving, boat club and swimmers. i emailed embryo when i heard they took it over last year and got told there was no tickets left only existing members.
