Quick update sorry it's been a while, the claim went past the date on PayPal but it remained open so the shop closed the case once they had checked the Barrow was returned ok. I then proceeded to request a refund on the return postage (£37.50) in which after a little complaining they did so, therefore I've decided not to shame them although I probably should!

I’d say you have every right to do this now, it’s been a while and they’ve not been helpful

Reckon this + a negative review would soon see them sort this

So update, the barrow has been collected and delivered and is showing on parcel force tracking that's it's been signed for however I'm unable to submit the tracking information to PayPal, this needs to be done by the 10th otherwise the case will close! PayPal is saying it's a problem their end but that's not helping me when I can't seem to get in touch with anyone at PayPal!

Not an ideal situation I know, but is it not a better option to take it back to the shop yourself?
At least that way they will have to deal with you face to face. Can’t imagine they will want that conversation conducted in front of other customers.

Make sure you send a link to this thread saying all you want is your money and you haven’t named them. But soon, you will. Highlight the thread has over 2400 views.

Inform PayPal of the situation and see if they're willing to help find a solution

PayPal won't refund until the seller receives it. Once I've had the refund I'm going to give the seller the opportunity to refund the postage otherwise I'll name and shame them, I wouldn't mind if it had been some Dodgy eBay seller but it's a reputable company!
