In reply to Post #15 Thanks for the replies, it's a couple of quick release spools for the older 4000m stradic. Felindre confirmed Shimano don't do them any more.
Think I'll swerve MV and keep an eye on the bay for a couple.

In reply to Post #10 I've had these for my Power Aero 14000 XTB's for a few years now.
Be aware that the shallow spools are VERY shallow - I don't know who would be using 100yds of 20lb casting braid?
I sold on 2 sets of 3 on Ebay that were too shallow for me, but have kept the deepest Teflon spools with carbon washers and line clips.
These hold around 240m of 20lb casting braid.
the clickers are very loud and you can hear them over a quiet Delkim and the drag is very good, with a better adjustment than the original quick drags. they are also much lighter than the original spools.
The only issue that the C clip behind the line clips have started to rust, but I've now put a bit of grease on that to prevent further corrosion.
Like what was said earlier, wait for the 20% discounts to appear, then a set of 3 delivered for just over £100.

I bought 3 x spools from mv spools last year for my shimano lc
They sent the wrong shallow size , and clicker flung off when put on reels to see if fitted ..
I emailed them for exchange for corect size and they were hard work to deal with ..
They lady only replyed once per week and just dragged emails out , i sent back spools to spain at own cost and exchange nerver came ,
In end i got fed up deeling with her once per week after a few months so contacted bank who spoke to them then got refund from bank in end
I wont use again self , others have and been fine but after sales is a no go
Id be looking at ebay or ask on hear if anyone got any

Has anyone used MV, any feedback?
I'm after a couple of deep spools for some stradic 4000 reels and they seem to be the only place in the world who have them!
Cheers

In reply to Post #3 I ordered some spools recently. All ok, no major delay. They are pretty good communicating. Didn’t get hit with any extra fees.

In reply to Post #1 By the time you've paid the postage, the duty , the VAT on the postage and the item combined and then the handling charge to whoever sorts it with HMRC I don't suppose there will be any drama whatsoever...
