In reply to Post #10 It's a good method, my tip is custom made,by David Kelly ,its carbon with three different rubber Trev Tomlin style rubbers..
You can watch bites develop and get ready, not much beats playing a big fish on a less than 1lb tc rod,great fun..
I use mine for plundering areas most would ignore..lol..

Stomy and very cold last night. I had this 16lber, and swiftly followed by a 12.12c.
Lost two more later on.
Old and solid fish, big rubbery lips.
